There are many benefits to high school students who elect to participate in a Dual Enrollment program, including free transportation, free textbooks, and the opportunity to earn college credit and high school credit simultaneously.
OCPS provides round-trip transportation between the student’s home high school and Winter Park Tech or Avalon Campus. Textbooks and study materials are provided to the students, free of charge. The only costs include a lab fee and uniform, if required by the program. In return, the students will get experience and career training from the student’s chosen career training program offered at Winter Park Tech or Avalon Campus.
